Down Payment Grant Programs
Not to be confused with the assistance programs where the money will need to be paid back when you sell your home, a grant program forgives the loan. There are income and qualification restrictions.
First Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance
The Down Payment Assistance program provides a second mortgage loan to eligible home buyers to help them with down payment and closing costs. This program is run by the Housing Finance Authority (HFA)
